Happy Halloween from Pandora!

Even home with the flu, I couldn’t resist getting into my costume. I decided to be an Interplanetary Ninja Assassin, CL4P-TP bot aka Claptrap from Borderlands.

I’ve seen a lot of Claptrap cosplays and they are always missing the antenna so I made it a priority for my costume. In addition, I wanted to do something more fun than just paint on the eye so I attached a light to have it light up.

I also felt if Claptrap had a choice, he’d be the brightest shade of yellow possible to match his upbeat personality so I picked a neon yellow tank from American Apparel that I hand painted all the details with fabric paint. For the bottom of the costume, I grabbed shiny, silver leggings from American Apparel and matched it with black boots to symbolize Claptrap’s tire. When I was making this costume, it was the only time that I wished that I knew how to ride a unicycle. I should’ve hired a hipster to teach then, I really would’ve made the best Claptrap costume ever.
